St. Gabriel the Archangel
The Archangel Gabriel is known as the messenger angel because he’s the one who often delivered God’s messages to people in the Bible.
We remember St. Gabriel from the popular Bible story called the Annunciation, when he was sent to deliver a message to a young girl named Mary.
He said: “Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.” He told her that she was going to have a baby and that the baby would be named Jesus. Mary’s baby would be the Son of God and the Savior of the World!
Mary was surprised and afraid, but she listened to the angel Gabriel and said YES to God’s plan. The name Gabriel means “the strength of God.”
We can ask St. Gabriel to pray for us when we need strength to share important messages about our faith.

God made you in His image and likeness, so you could be like Him. Just like when you look in a mirror, you see a reflection. We are a reflection of God’s beauty and His love. You are His one-of-a-kind masterpiece; priceless and irreplaceable.
