St. Joseph

Joseph was a carpenter; he built things out of wood.

One night, an angel appeared to Joseph and said, “Do not be afraid.

By the power of the Holy Spirit, Mary will have a baby and you will call him Jesus ; for he will save his people from sin.”

Joseph was a good husband to Mary and a great foster-father to Jesus. He was happy to protect and care for them.

Joseph treated his wife like a queen. He loved her very much. He always honored Mary and respected her.

He prays for our families, especially for our fathers.

St. Joseph, Pray for us.

Connection Question: What can we do to honor Mary, the Queen of Heaven and Earth?

Examples: Talk to Mary, ask her to pray for us, pray the rosary, love her son Jesus, sing songs or hymns to Mary, celebrate a Marian feast days.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. 

Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth, grant us peace in our hearts and in our families Immaculate Mary, watch over us and protect us with your motherly love. Amen.
