Theme Connection:
What would a Cool Kingdom Party be without a VBS Treasure Box? This craft will remind us how we need to treasure Mary and Jesus in our hearts. This Treasure Box will be a great keepsake for all your VBS items such as saint cards, Kingdom Cards and prizes. It might also come in handy to collect coins to tithe at Mass.
You’ll need:
- Small wooden craft box (1/child) Variety of craft boxes are available at dollar stores or from Oriental Trading.
- Kingdom Clipart
- Colored tape
- Markers
- Stickers, foam letters, craft jewels, etc.
- Scissors and glue
- (Opt.) Hot glue gun and coins
Prep:
- Print and pre-cut clipart for younger children.
Activity:
- Write your name on the bottom of your treasure box.
- Decorate it with tape, stickers, clipart, jewels, etc.
