Reflection
For this 4th Sunday of Advent, we're going to focus on the Gospel of Luke again. This time we hear about two very special woman, Elizabeth and Mary. Elizabeth was Mary's cousin, and she had the grace to see that Mary was going to be the mother of the Savior of the world. The words that Elizabeth says when she sees Mary are the same words that we pray in the Hail Mary.
What are the words that Elizabeth says to Mary? "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb."
Elizabeth was giving praise and glory to God for the This week, we want to focus on Mary, and reflect on what she went through before Jesus was born. Mary was a young girl when the angel Gabriel appeared to her, and it took a lot of faith and courage to say YES to being the mother of Jesus.

Activity: Joyful Mystery Cards
The rosary is a special prayer we pray to Mary the Mother of Jesus. There are different reflections we can pray on different days, and we call these Mysteries of the Rosary. They help us focus on different parts of Jesus’ life on earth. There are four different types of mysteries of the rosary. Does anyone know them? (Joyful, Sorrowful, Luminous, and Glorious) We are going to focus on the Joyful Mysteries by making Joyful Mystery Cards.
You can keep these cards with you in your vehicle or at home to help you learn to pray the Joyful Mysteries.

Activity: The Gift Wrap Game
Since Christmas is just around the corner, people around the world are getting into the Christmas spirit, which usually means gift-giving. So with that in mind, we are going to have fun wrapping an extra special gift!
